For some strange reason I fancied liver and onions for me tea tonight.
98p bought me a 512 kilo of pigs liver, 12p for an onion, 50p for a savoy cabbage and I already had a bag of spuds in, but a kilo of King Eddies was about £1.20 in Tesco's. So cheap as chips, easy to cook, tasty and nutritious as well!
It got me thinking though.... When I were a lad, Tuesday night was liver night almost without fail, but do people eat such food today?
