It's a roll of the dice really.

You got any alternate such as a car trailer or closer test station?

MOT place just up the road, she was going to the caravan (Static)  from home and take my car from work; I could make her wait till I come home and just take my car..... :-\ :-\

Just realised why I got a missed call from the Garage about a week ago.... :-[ :-[ :-[

Insurance only valid if driving to a pre-booked MOT appointment I think

So your insurance will indemnify you if you damage your car whilst driving with no MOT. Find that hard to believe ???

3rd part only or road traffic act as a bare minimum, after all your car may be perfectly roadworthy, all the mot  proves that it met certain criterior at the time of the test

I always thought one of the conditions of insurance was that the vehicle had to be road legal?  ???

Therefore No MOT = No Insurance  ::)  :-\

I am quite sure that if I rang them up and asked the question it would be a no no......regardless we have decided the car is off the road until it has a nice new MOT..... :y :y
