This is the 2 door version with cooper engine. Done 16000 miles.. Guy near me has it and needs a front wing. Remember the 1100 well.

about 10 years ago, my sister bought a 1300 with 18,000 miles that was supposedly ready to use. After replacing both master cylinders, clutch, wheel cylinders, brake pads, battery, radiator hoses and the tyres it became her daily driver. That list is typical of very low mileage old cars.

That front wing won't be the only welding that car needs....

finding a front wing that is cost effective is the problem - seems to be £500 worth which is prohibitive. I am finding some difficulty is managing the upload of images - the various click on buttons are not working?

I was in a crash as a passenger in an MG 1300 in 1977. Still don't know how I survived it. Only treatment needed was to stitch the top of my ear back on.
Driver was thrown out on the first impact and slid up the wet road on his arse watching his car disintegrate in front of his eyes.
There wasn't one recognisable panel when it finally came to a stop.

Many thanks. Earlpart do not have an offside only. They will sell a pair of wings at £295 - have passed info onto owner.

Kevin - maybe transfer this thread to correct place please?

On a narrow Irish country road at 2am, the driver was demonstrating that it could do 70 in third, and then hit a large puddle and aquaplaned. I distinctly remember feeling like I was inside a pinball machine as the car destroyed itself on the stone walls and trees.
Funny to look back on, but scary at the time.
