Rod and crankshaft bearings y32se
« on: 03 January 2021, 18:13:46 »

Hi, I,m looking for the bearings of the con rods and crankshaft but I do not find them out of origin. I have seen that a Czech boy used a not OEM parts, will they be from the x30xe? The measurements are the same but the references are different, how do they change?

For the 3.2?

It has a forged crank. the 2.5/2.6/3.0 doesn't.

The 3.2 has different bore and stroke so the internals will be very different.

.. ah. Bearings might not be too different, however. Depends if the journal diameters are the same. Probably best to measure the crank first anyway, in case there is any wear.

The diameters are the same, in fact fcp forged rods are the same for 3.0 and 3.2. In the case of the rods, the difference seems to be that the 3.2 has two flanges

I don't know about the crankshaft, but this guy seems to have done it with 3.0 material over 3.2 but I don't know what result it would have given him and if it is reliable
