Same here. Roads were busy as ever on the way home from work this morning.

A bit quieter round here today, but haven't been very far, got to attend a funeral in South London tomorrow ( wife's cousin) got to go as  she is next of kin + she has inherited his two properties ,so a few bits to sort out.

If we'd had a normal year, I would have been in France for my aunts funeral. As things are, that's going to be a very small and quiet affair.

Apparently its the worst daily figure for cases, although doesnt quite match the highest number for deaths.
Someone needs to pull out all the stops on the vaccine programme.
Army / Navy / Airforce medics at arenas / sports stadiums possibly ? Commandeer fridge lorries ? Whatever it takes I should think.

In France at COP last night France vaccinated a grand total of 500 lucky souls. The 45 page consent form might be  factor.

I agree it is a massive logistical problem. Britain used to be good at that sort of thing.

How stupid are the rules in Scotland? No limit on the time you can spend outdoors for exercise. A 6 hour two mile walk around the district could be considered exercise for some, just wear your trackie and you're ok.

Town won't be busy, most of the shops are closed, but everywhere else is. My missus is crawling up the M1 at the moment.
