Big numbers today. 60916 new cases and 830 deaths.
62322 cases and 1041 deaths today.
52,618 cases and 1,162 deaths today  :(

i notice that the UK are now showing "recovered cases" ,previously it stated N/A  stats
N/A would be better ,as no one knows if you ever "recover"  ::)

So...2.8 million cases, 78,000 deaths and 1.3 million recovered. What happened to the other 1.4 million?  ;D

Hokum. By showing the recovered number it provides a bit of perspective, and confirms a suspicion that they've been deliberately concealing them...

If half the cases are shown to have recovered, it makes the total number less frightening...

Before... 97% active, and 3% dead.

After... 49% active, 48% recovered and 3% dead.

Losing 48% off the headline does at least give some hope.

It runs on xBox and Playstation to, there are very few valid reasons for the majority

That’s what really grips my chit.

Daughter is a primary teacher of some years and like me, gets really hacked off with some parents-not all - who are virtually demanding a free laptop so cherub can work from home.

Parent(s) have smartphones, iPads etc but cherub not allowed access.  Cherub also has a gamebox variant but parent(s) won’t allow its use for school.  Free or extended mobile data access available but again, it’s gives a laptop......

Just be as careful as you can regarding the virus, it's a pain in the arse but the alternative is  worse, I really think that  getting it anywhere near under control is a long way off yet.

Figures due to Xmas gatherings will show in around 10 days time according to what was being discussed by medical experts last night.

Roads around here have finally gone quiet. Not quite as quiet as first lockdown, but not far off.
Hopefully its a sign that people are taking it seriously at last.  ::)
