Castle Drogo Devon.
« on: 23 June 2021, 11:15:59 »

Went for a drive out yesterday didn't go in the "Castle" but for a walk in the grounds for several miles around it, absolutely stunning views + the weather was glorious. Apparently constructed in the late 1930s early 1940s by the chap who started the Home & Colonial business, approach roads/lanes extremely narrow but worth a visit definitely.

It's a bit earlier than that.

And you missed out by not touring the house.

Oops should be 1910-1930 , couldn't tour the house had Buddy the Boxer with us & far too hot to leave him in the car.
