Well I can't get it as I don't get a decent Freeview signal from the main TV mast round here, so had to tune in to a repeater station which puts out a fraction of the available  Freeview channels.

The sound on it is very low. When the reporters are out and about they don't have their microphones on the end of six foot poles like other channels.

Plenty of 'big name' adverts like Amazon to be seen. My guess is that they pay very little, or nothing, to advertise at this very early stage of GB News development.

Viewing figures will need to increase for revenue from adverts to increase.

Apparently it had triple the viewing figures that SKY had last night.

For me, it is currently a bit like the early days of channel 4. It has teething troubles and needs to find its feet.
The one glaring problem is that it has one current affairs programme after another but not actual news programmes.
It needs to have 6 o,clock and 10 o,clock news, with headlines on the hour, as that is what viewers are used to.
Hopefully it will get there because it has the right mission in mind from the start.

It is clearly still in it's 'wet behind the ears' infancy. The sound man need to improve.

Hopefully it will mature and evolve given time.
