It might seem retrograde, but you would be better in the long term to buy a pair of new non vented calipers and go back to solid discs...

The reason being that all the parts are readily available. You could alternatively split the existing calipers to covert them to solid discs if the extra 2mm of piston diameter matters...  :y

Make the springs from the steel banding(cheaper than buying spring steel of a similar size) used on pallets, either riveted or spot welded together. Or you could buy the non vented springs - which are cheap and readily available - and widen them using this technique to save a bit of time.

I'm thinking I might be able to drill the rivet out on one of the many sets of new non-vented springs I have here then re-attach the wider 'pad spreader' (for want of a different description). Other thought is to take the whole caliper off with the pins and spring in place then drop the pads out which will allow the spring to be removed, from experience it's the action of removing of the pins that breaks the springs.

Don't the pins pass through the pads?

You could try these, albeit not in the UK
https://www.ersatzteile-original.com/Opel/SPREIZFEDER-ATE-Opel-Ersatzteil-0542913-9195056::88529.html
No guarantee they will actually have them or could get them but worth a try.....

If they're wrong you'll have paid £20 for something that's readily available for 30% less.

Yep and i've got plenty of sets of non-vented ones! I'm going to try drilling the rivet and rescuing the wider 'pad spreader' piece from the old clips when they fall apart on removal then rivet them together. I can see they'd be easy enough to make if it came to it, need to find my old vice, build a workbench and fit it so I can bend some metal LOL

I always found it the pins that rotted away, and they're unobtainium.

That link includes a single buyer review. From 2017.

Most of these overseas companies are actually pretty good at responding to email queries, so for a couple of taps, you can find out before you commit  :y

The pins are easy.

The complicated way would be to cut new ones from some appropriate sized rods, upset one end, then fit your existing clips to the other end. That's a couple of minutes per pin. A long split pin would also work, like it does on millions of other calipers.

The springs aren't too bad, but I would expect to make a few attempts before I managed a usable part. It's probably worth a couple of simple jigs, then making several sets, as the material costs are minimal.

A couple of years ago or so, there was a suggestion on here that the pins and clips for vented calipers were becoming scarce and difficult to source. I bet a few of you wished now you had acted on that bit of info, and being items that were known to need replacing during an Omegas service life, toddled off to their friendly VX dealer and bought a few sets. Its not as if they take up much room ::). I did on that info, to be told that I had purchased the last ones the dealer could get (no, I'm not selling them.....sorry :P).
'Gloating' apart though, being into my classic Triumphs, in the 80's, other Club members used to question why I used to buy NOS (New Old Stock) genuine parts when they were available at the right money, dispite not having any use for them at that time. They don't ask me the same question now when they ring me asking if I have what they need......
I realise it's long term, but if you intend keeping certain cars for as long as foreseeably possible, as I did then with my Triumphs and intend to do so as long as possible with my Omegas, then to me it makes sense to consider buying known smaller components that are likely to be needed (especially if hints are given as to their scarcity  :y) if you have the room.
I know we don't have a glass ball, but over the years, have bought a good selection of genuine VX Omega parts which, during my 17 years of Omega ownership, have previously required replacing more than once, a good number of which are ridiculously expensive now or unobtainable.
Even if they are never needed, because they were bought at the right money, being genuine parts, they can always be sold later if your interests change.
Just my thoughts......

Well yes, just like you I have three Omegas and hence I have two sheds full and various boxes in the loft full of Omega parts, some used, some new, some bit's i have refurbished, but while I may have half a dozen top hat seals I definitely don't have any of these springs for vented rears!  ;D

I know I can knock up a solution for the spring and I will do when the other two cars need them but I just wanted a quick solution to keep the daily going for another couple of months until it's replacement arrives - If I could have found some to use i'd have took them off before I scrapped it knowing their scarcity!

The last set of GM vented pins and springs I bought was around 2013 and was almost £50 for the six parts, and special order from Germany to boot.

Non vented have always been readily available for around a fifth of that.  :o

Beware buying the aftermarket vented kits as they claim to be correct but don't always measure up to dimensions shown ;)
