The American people are given a very poor choice at presidential elections. Most of the options over the last 20 years have been unfit to be president. Can't see that changing any time soon.

It is terrible for men women and children of any age but they must learn to fight for themselves in my opinion of course. I really am very sad for them all but……..

I don't know if it makes me a bad person, but I've had 60 odd years of people killing, raping and generally hating each other. I'm kind of immune to it.

Same here Steve, I've done my bit to try and make the world a better place & safer for those in fear of their lives, now I couldn't give two hoots I've got a reasonable life & a great family and I am determined to enjoy it.

              That’s correct so are you, I didn’t choose where I was born and… somebody very close to me has done their part there too representing you and me. Rangie I have the same view as you..  right or wrong.

Yes, Rae, and I refuse to spend whatever life I have left worrying about global warming, racism, sexism or any other ism. Or Afghanistan.
In the sixties it was ban the bomb, Cuban missile crisis, then Greenham Common, etc. People laid down in the middle of the road and camped out in the rain and stuff. What difference did any of it make? None whatsoever, just as it won't today.

None of the indigenous people are prepared to fight they are all running away, I noticed all the people hanging on that military plane were men, why are they not with their wives kids and parents they are predominantly young men of fighting age getting the hell out of Dodge. That just about sums it up. But it won't stop the bleeding hearts and detractors of Biden protesting for the next few months. I hope this is the conflict that finally stops the west getting involved in places where it shouldn't. Not on moral grounds, but because it inevitably makes things worse.
