She was complaining about our Morrisons delivery , she cancelled the eggs & bought some from Iceland for half the price got to watch the pennies..😄

Got to be honest I would never buy any other than a free range egg, and at the moment Morrisons have 6 small eggs for 50p or 6 medium for £1. Free range  here.

I bought a half dozen box of extra large eggs from Lidl recently and five of them were double yolkers!

I do still enjoy the fish from our local chippy, though, lovely white flakes of cod.

I have a rule to never eat anything that comes from the sea. I've pissed (and worse) in the sea.

I remember, back when I used to do a real job for a living, I had a couple of big chicken farms on my patch.  I frequently had to nip behind one of the sheds for a tactical chunder.

In the case of meat, due to restuarnats being closed for quite a lot of the 1st year of the Chinky Sniffle, Mrs TB informs me that the supermarkets were selling better quality meats and ridiculously low prices.  So she is surprised that in the last year, it has "only" gone up around 10% from when it was dirt cheap.

I guess the subsequent rise in beef prices is why my regular steak and chips has got less regular

Basa is fine. All white fish seems to taste much the same to me.
