I popped into Costco in Bristol earlier this evening and picked up a tray of lamb steaks which for years has cost between £11 - 13ish.

Tonight the same tray with 6 or 7 steaks cost between £20 -23 depending on weight  , so sadly they went back in the fridge rather than my trolley.

I filled up at 1.47 today. It was 1.44 on Tuesday. Last tankful before was 1.34. I bet it is 1.60 by end of Jan.

It can’t be long before food prices start going up as a result of increased transport costs.

Get down to Morrisons in Porth where you can by a nice boneless shoulder joint for £6 a kilo or leg of lamb for £10 a kilo and cut your own👍
