A job for Tiger Seal.  :y :)
It was a job for pieces of Chinese takeaway containers an copious amounts of sikaflex one the end.

A 'little tap on the nose' would do that.
The big plastic panels then spring back into place leaving the internal organs battered and bruised.

Bodged up the rattly A/C compressor on the Mondeo with some 3/4" tap washers and silicone.  :)

Did some pads whilst it was jacked up, and also did the oil in both cars.

Dash fault lights came on and it started misfiring 5 minutes after I left for work Sat. morning. Turned round and shot home, and swapped with the Omega.
Read the codes yesterday and got a fault for number 4 injector. This is the injector I bought off ebay about 18 months ago so thought it had probably packed up.
Today decided to swap number 1 and 4 injectors around to see of the fault followed the injector to number 1 pot.
Started it up and took it for a drive. It seemed to run ok and no fault codes logged, but lights are still lit on the dash, suggesting something still isnt right.
I have a more advanced diagnostic thingy that connect to my laptop so will try and give that a go between shifts tomorrow and see if it throws any more light on things.
If I didnt need its fuel consumption I would dump the fickin thing.  ::)

So this last week have been working on my VW panel van getting it finished after a 3 year rebuild and a year laid up . Sorted an oil leak , pushrod tube seal and rocker gasket, did a mod to clutch pedal and fitted 2 new rear tyres. Fitted sink and tap, wired  up water pump and fitted aux battery. Then fired up the sewing machine and made covers for the R&R bed . Turned out okay as never made anything like this before, had a fight with the second hand sewing machine but won on points !
Next job is covering the front Golf GTI seats in leather , cut the sections out yesterday from some dark green leather that was offcuts from Morgans that I was given 20 years ago. Not enough to make the rear sections or piping but will reuse the originals.
