Omega B power steering control module
« on: 03 March 2010, 17:24:57 »

Can anyone please  explain what the power steering control module does and what is its purpose. Also the Haynes manual (pre face lift) wiring diagram only shows one solenoid and mine seems to have two? Lastly does anyone know how to test the system? Thanks

I believe it is the unit that gives the "speed sensitive" weighting to the power steeering.

Basically assistance is reduced at speed to lessen the sensitivity by bypassing fluid .. at least thats how I understand it .. !!
