Just got a shock

Just took the Mrs' car to put petrol in it. Won't take much, I thought, she's only been in three days this week. Maybe 15-17 quid. £25!!!!

So I did the maths.

£1.29 a litre X 4.546 = £5.86 a gallon!!!

I just didn't realise it was that expensive in the units I grew up with.

And the robbing b'stards have put gas up to 78p  a litre near me ::)

Bloody hell, i know what you mean Steve, you loose track of the proper price "gallons" when it's all sold in litre's, that is shocking  :o :o :o

You are lucky Steve, as I filled up on Tuesday with just under 1/4 of a tank still there; £70 :o :o :P

Yep. 75 litres (omega) X £1.30  = £97.50p !!!!!
