Heard these rot pretty bad but add says it just flew through mot  :-\ Where's the places to look for repairs/rot  :-\

There is one in Leicester " rear body cross member has corrosion around rear near side body mount" no mot or tax but its cheap  :y

Where the chassis starts to rise over the rear axle is famous for rot - if it goes you give the LR a broken back. Done this several times with a LR breakdown truck. They will pull anything but not so keen on carrying weight once they get old...

Guess that would be awkward to repair if needed but if thats the worst then maybe worth a punt  ::)

1. I wont buy any vehicle that requires a ladder to wash and polish  ;D



2. Dark color.. which will always be dirty in a rainy climate.. if you insist to keep it clean ,water costs will be more than the fuel :-\

the D2 is know for rust on the rear of the chassis...also a V8 can you handle the 7-10 MPG around town??...I would look at either a gassed version or a TD5 :y

Spot on , dont forget the Cibie lamps on the roof  :D

But i could earn £50 an hour with a snow plough on the front  ;D
