I did that on an FE Victor I was banger racing. The coils had lost all spring and were hard against each other. Could not get a jack under it even with a inflated tyre. Lasted for four meetings. Cooked the engine in the end

The mig has been finished so much better than those others. All the chassis covered up nicely at the front, not just left looking rough.
I was going to do a mini with a suzuki sj chassis. Got made redundant, no work for six months so that was the end of that

Yea mate, I do the club shop for ABS. I dont own the LC, I am insured to drive the ABS chairmans car as he has lost his sight. He didnt want to sell the car so has three of us insured on it. he still gets to go out in it although in the passenger seat, and us insurees get to stretch its legs now and again

Yea, its on that field opposite Bedford square shops. Looks like it may be a day out for the Monza now as the LC has gone down on one cylinder. Se if we can get it sorted but time is against us with other stuff to do

I have heard that the 1.9 diesel is far more suseptable to head gasket failure than the 1.7 as it is a bit more stressed.

1.6 is livley but no motorway car as it is low geared. Handles well and I get around 38 to the gallon from mine

Biggriffin, have a lok on ABS at James Richardsons thread about mats. He found a company that makes sets as good as dealers sets. And there is a discount when mentioning ABS. Local vX dealer uses them instead of genuine for all its new cars
