Plan B is to nip down one of the take aways, which I might anyway, but sometimes its nice to be able to cure the late evening munchies

The Bullet broke down, twice, on the way to work.

It just cut out, at idle. Started fine the first time, second time it wouldn't start until I'd had a rummage.

Now I think I've diagnosed it, any guesses?

TBE was thrown in for its MOT on Monday, without any prep, expecting a failure on a couple of things, but it passed. Advisos were for what I thought.

With the new washing machine being (presumably) cold fill only, is there a cap I can put over the hot tap/valve where the old hot hose would have gone to prevent diasaster if the valve/tap gets knocked or leaks?

I think its the standard 3/4" fitting...

Washing machine. Hotpoint WMA60.

Its 14yrs old, and bearings have gone again by the sound of it. Trouble is, it could be one of 2 sizes, so would mean stripping, ordering the bits, then reassembling, so probably out of action for a week (I think this was the reason last time I bought the entire drum assembly).

Or accept its probably done its time, and she can have a nice new shiny one.

Driving to airport it developed a squeal from OSR wheel.  Stopped at services, and wheel was quite warm, all others cold.

Noise was a bit like brake squeal.

Sticky caliper or wheel bearing?

I keep seeing posts of people mentioning their Zafiras.  I struggle to see the appeal, despite (or maybe due to!) having one myself. I put them in the shitbox category.

But they are obviously popular...   ...or are they, hence the poll.
