yes m8, so i will do as you guys said and re the guides etc, sorry for sounding dim, as i said thought it would just flash nineteen times not like morse code....

Yup, crank sensor as suspected :y

In Maintenence Guides is a guide on replacing, and a new route for cable.

crank sensor replaced, and fingers crossed its still all working. Im afraid I chickened out and got my garage to do it though when I saw when the sensor was located right at the back of engine. also max'd my credit card to lower the car at same time! but dont tell m'wife... ;)

broke down on way to garage though.... ended up having to be towed to the garage. :-[
