Auto box 'gear lever'
« on: 03 December 2006, 21:05:11 »

Not sure if thats what you call it! but the lever on my 3.0 has a lot of movement when in any position. In other words it goes in to 'gear' fine, drives fine, but if for example it is in drive I can move the lever back and forward at least half and inch.
Any ideas?

Cheers

Spunds slightly excessive, there should be some movement.

Loo nder thecar and at the side of thebox you should see a linkage with a bolt through it, check its tight.
