Like the idea of colour coding the grille

Great stuff.  :y Need to see the alloys in the full glory though..... :y

Don't know if it would fit but have a P/F/L Irmscher rear saloon bumper in silver (with parking sensors already on).
Is your car Saloon or Estate?

He's always got lots of stuff and is very helpful. Will try and sort you if he can.

Shame he's so far from my neighbourhood (for the larger parts), but made the trip once and his garage is an aladins cave of Omega parts.

Omega General Help / Re: Manifold Gaskets
« on: 04 June 2015, 19:25:14 »

Are you certain the old ones are leaking

As I was leaving Mayday meet start engine - lots of curious looks and 'what's that tapping?' & 'does it stop after a while?' Yes, says I - 'oh', came the chorus in unision - 'manifold gaskets'

A very kind person handed me two as I drove out.

Some one made a joke about the gaskets staying in the shed.

I feel confident it is the gaskets, yes :y

Was very kindly donated some of said gaskets at Mayday meet.

How much has to come off before the old ones are removed and new ones replaced?

Would rather someone from here did them than give to the garage for installation during service (can see the labour charges racking up if I do). Next service due end of this month.

How long should it take?

Any advice much appreciated

Can't see a two lap race of the M25 ever taking off ::)

No they stopped doing that in the late 90's when they got found out..... ::)

Blimey, how things have changed......
In my day the T72 was just becoming more mainstream. They looked very similar and were very much of a historical design that hadn't changed much. Didn't they have the barrel fume extractor near the muzzle? (or something?). No. Just had a look at pictures, still 2/3rds up the barrel just as the T62/4's :-[

This T14 thingy doesn't look anything like the previous 'style' of Warsaw pact MBT.(reference the 'frying pan' mentioned)
The only thing I recognise is the 8 wheeler - wasn't its predecessor the BRDM? (I've forgotten more than I realised!)

What is UK infantry platoon anti-tank weapon in use now? Is the 66 still being used? I understand that the Charlie-G is a museum piece now (thank gawd - bloody heavy and awkward they were too...........). Whatever it is, looks like it'll have to be able to deal with a fair bit of armour protection to get through on these beasts.

Glad I can leave it to the young chaps now...

Putin does seem to be very 1930's in his re arming and occupation of next door neighbours. No wonder he wants new toys to do it with....

Anyone who was out scoffing and boozing and is up at 5am the next morning to stop football tournament gatecrashers for the benefit of our Omega meeting can get my handle (as you put it) as wrong as they like.... :P ::) 8) :y

Thanks again :y :y :y :y
