I know the answer is probably no but I've seen a couple of wanted posts from newbies being moved to the sale/wanted sections which seems a little unfair. I've been without a car for a few weeks now and I'm getting a bit desperate.

It would help me out a a lot.

Does anyone have pictures of these on their cars?

Also has anyone tried fixing their number plates using double sided sticky pads or velcro? How secure is the front plate as the bumber is slightly curved. Can you post some pictures of these too?

General Discussion Area / Parking in visitors bays

I received a parking ticket a week ago whilst I was parked in a visitors bay at 1am without displaying a permit. I know ignorance is no excuse but I didn't think you needed to in those hours. I appealed which failed but that was to be expected as 99.99% of first appeals are always rejected.

There are no signs stating otherwise only that your car will be clamped/towed but I thought it applied to the estate parking bays that are next to it.

Are there any websites that state the guidelines on parking matters? I tried the local authority site but its useless.

General Discussion Area / Which gear when driving at 30mph?

Just wondering what gear you guys (and girls) use when driving in town at around 30 mph in your Omegas (or any other car; please state)? For arguements sake constant 30 mph, normal conditions.

I use 3rd because I don't want to labour the engine too much, the revs drop below 1,500rpm in 4th so I like to keep it around 2,000rpm.

Mine is the 2.5V6 (please state engine size too & rpm)

Does anyone find the seats on Omegas really uncomfortable? Not sure if they differ between models but on my V6 CD its back breaking! Went on a long drive and I was well and my lower back is foobarbed.
