My 99 Elite

Afternoon guys, just joined today. Had my Elite for just over a month and done about 3000 miles already. I'm an Autobahnstormers member and also have a Monza - the Omega came about due to a welcome change of job and replaces a 3.0 Royale coupe and a 125 Yamaha!

Few pics here. Standard for now but might get a meatier back box in time. Coolant, gearbox fluid and oil and filter done, now have to sort out dodgy trip computer and sticky driver's door lock. Offside manifold gasket a bit vocal on startup but will let that get a bit worse before I tackle it! Nice looking forum everyone...

Standard ?! there is an Irmscher Grill and spoiler fitted !!  :y

Very nice an clean Omega  8-) with CCRT-700 Telephone and Bose Soundsystem  8-)

Get a 24mm spanner on the bottom coupling of the flexi pipe for the EGR valve where it joins the exhaust manifold first...

Sure, here's another! Ta for the EGR tip, the valve itself is blanked off courtesy of my mate's metalwork skills! Should hold off blocked breather problems. Planning to soak all the manifold bolts in about 90 gallons of WD before I attempt to undo them. When did they upgrade the studs to prevent them shearing, was it when they lengthened the plenum or when they did the big facelift?



I was sold on the colour when I saw this car, was prepared not to like it. Never heard of Titanium Silver before but I've seen a few Mercs in a similar colour lately.
