Cheers for your help. I had to give my mum a call and told her what part I needed and she has bought the hedgehog for me for £10 inc postage with a 30 day garauntee. No as soon as it comes I gotta work out how to fit the bloody thing.  ;D

Did you get the correct one. A/C and C/C are different

My car has both climate control and air con. I have no idea if the right one has been bought.

Climate control does what it says. When in auto mode it monitors the cabin temp and adjusts accordingly to whatever temp has been set. A/C is traditional form of cooling whereby you are setting it manually. Both use refrigerant but two totally different systems

I contacted the people my mum ordered it from and the car had climate control with aircon like mine. So in theory it is the right one. lol

Quite often the hedgehog can be repaired, the fault is normaly salts etc from the water ingress affecting the feedback circuits on the hybrid circuit board inside 'hedgehog'

So if its cleaned well using a circuit baord cleaner then quite often the 'recover'.

Alternatively, seek the advice of a vet

I had to laugh when I read that. Thanks for the advise.

I think I will try that when I get it all apart.

I am hoping to get the repair done on Friday for the heating and Sunday afternoon my car will have the steering idler fitted. Then I can get on with ticking the rest of the to do's off the list  ;D
