Hi to anyone out there!!!!!!
I am looking for someone in the Ayrshire/Glasgow area who could help me with my stuck drivers door....the panel is off linkage seems to be ok, key appears to lock and unlock,external and internal handles appear to operate but door is not released stuck tight!!!!( central locking disabled) HELP :'(

Central locking motor/actuator failed in that door ?

Had exact same problem the other week, kicked hell out of the door without any luck. Removed all the linkages and disconnected the solenoid and removed the plastic protector. I just tumbled around with everything on the lock and it just popped open. Removing the 2 bolts and taking out handle might give you a bit more access. Had to get new lock mechanism, but someone on here will sort you out. Also new drivers door card Albitz you got any left.

Could this be weather related? There seems to be a run of these up north :-\

Thanks guys.....think the weather has something to do with the problem as never stops raining here and everywhere I have been in the UK this year it has rained!!!!! anyway now I have something to work on.
What is this card ???? (did try kicking and swearing at it as well) all it did was made me feel better :-\

That'll be the panel that you took off to get at the gubbins :y if the door was open when you removed it, I would hope that it is still intact ::)
Might be worth checking the bottom of the door from the inside to make sure that there isn't any thing blocking any drain holes, (if there are any :-\), and that all is dry :y

Panel is still intact as the door was opening at the time but kept on sticking....so thought it was a lub job!!!! does not look too bad inside will check the bottom of the door again....everything seems to have movement lock clicking and key moving the button but to me it seems it does not have the umph to open the door if you know what I mean!!!!!! Thank for replying :-*

Had one of the first Minis!!!! which kept going for years all you did was replace subframes and string on door handle....Oh for the good old days less technology :y

While you can get at it, you're probably best to change the solenoid and the latch mechanism :y

I dont have a solenoid etc for a drivers door Im afraid. A wanted ad may well help to find one if you need one. :y

In order to do that, you'll need to post in the Test Zone, and nicely ask one of the Admins to move it for you :y
