Elite seat wiring

Using the guide in the maintenance section it says join the 2 brown wires together, I have a thick black wire (ign ?) where it shows brown in the pic.
It's a mini face lift seat.
Just trying to get the motors to fire up not bothered about anything else.

"in the pic" refers to the pic in the guide  :D

Wire colours vary, but the pinouts in the guide are correct  :y
