I threw out the autochanger on my 1997 Omega 2.5 as it was screwing CDs like mad.
I used a tape cassette converter for a while so that I could use my iPhone to play music. However that has gone wrong and if the cassette unit is in the car will not start.
I would like to replace the radio with a more modern one that I can plug my iPhone straight into.
Can anyone suggest a good (not expensive) one that I can install myself. Preferably one that does not need a cable converter or is simple to convert myself.

Any unit with Bluetooth will get the job done.
If the car doesn't have Bose then it's a pretty straightforward exercise. Just go to Halfords and buy the first thing you like the look of and possibly an adapter cable :y

For it's faults, Helfrods does allow you to see what you're looking at in person. ;)
