"BRONTIE" to go to Merthyr Tydfil school garden
« on: 09 June 2010, 09:11:35 »

News today that "Brontie" the brontosaurus dinosaur skeleton not wanted by its previous museum owner has found a new home in a garden of a Merthyr Tydfil school after a public appeal and auction. The 30ft skeleton will take pride of place in the school's new garden, and will be accessable to all to touch and admire.

That'll be TWO old dinosaurs in Merthyr, then..............
(hope the bones of the other one are in better nick, you can't visit the other one!!!)   LOL!!!!

My sister's kids go to that school, she told me about it earlier - was very surprised to see it on here  :o

Just been informed there were a few people bidding for the pile of bones, the school won against stiff competition from a few people and the losing bidder was no other than Chris Evans, the ginger disc jockey.
Bad luck Chris, better luck next time. :D :D :D :D :D :D
