yep looks like a good car, again i think its not a mini-facelift.. the grill suggests it is, but i doubt it.

Does not have HID's and looks pre mini facelift, but still cracking buy with that mileage.

A little over the odds price wise, but the mileage makes up for it, and with a very elderly owner i doubt its been thrashed!

Price is over the top but when you take in to consideration the Low miles still a Bargain.
What ever you do , Change Cambelt and Water Pump as soon as possible .
It would be real shame to Spoil such a nice car.
Recommended change is 40000 miles or 4 Years so it is LONG ! LONG ! OVERDUE !
Try and find a reliable Garage that you can Trust not the Muppets at Vauxhall Dealerships.
Unless of you want to finish up on the hard shoulder Just 500 miles later as i did on the way to my Holidays !

I can't believe she is swapping a 3ltr Elite for a 4x4.  Unless it's a Shogun it'll be hard pushed to beat that Omega as a tow car.

£1800 may be a high price but it's good for another 200,000 miles!  ;)

Personally I'd change the cambelt asap - 9 year old rubber and all that  :y

How old is the Megane? My boss had an '03 plate 1.4 petrol version... my god the build quality was crap. Drove quite well when it was working, but had lots of annoying rattles and lots of things went wrong on it with less than 30k miles.

What made me laugh is this:

To replace the drivers side indicator bulb or headlight bulb, you need to take off the drivers side wheel and also remove the plastic trim around the wheel arch to get access!  ::) ::)

I was on the floor laughing when he ran a local garage asking for it to be done, he said "nahh sorry mate thats a dealer job"  ::) ::)

Wifes ZT has a little "hatch" in the wheel arch liner to get to the bulbs. Thats a wheel off job too and, as you cant see what you're doing, you have to do it by 'feel' :o
