Had a 1980 V reg Marina 1.7 estate, replaced a MK3 Cortina  2000E estate the Ford is probably the worst car I have ever owned, rusted rapidly & filled up with water every time it rained. The Marina was actually very reliable swopped it for a LWB Nissan Patrol when we moved to Norfolk.

Hard to imagine any girlies of the time getting excited by a Marina TC. I suppose you told them it had the same engine as the MGB. :y

That might possibly have worked.

........Oooooh Sharon, I hear that Tigger fella owns a yellow Marina  with twin carbs. My knickers have suddenly become all damp. :D ;D

My Marina got quite damp due to a nurse I was "helping out" at the time, very supple young lady. 😋😋😋

 :o :o :o Opti!!

But seriously when I saw a Marina I did wet my knickers..............after laughing so much at such an unfashionable car! ;D ;D ;D

I wouldn't, and still wouldn't be seen in one.  At 19 they were such a joke belonging to "old" people. Now at xx I just wouldn't feel safe! :D :D ;)

Never owned a TR7 nor fancied one.The MGB even in V8 flavour never appealed either. However a Stag could be a machine of interest!
