Only been to Limerick once, passing through on the way to Clare. It was pissing down with proper Irish rain, so I didn't get a great impression unfortunately.
Shite weather all the time, be a grand ould country if we could only roof it

I was hoping ye might say the 2.0 petrol or 2.2 or 2.5 diesel box can fit if ya drill a extra hole 😁😁
The diff question is related to a road going omega not the track one, sorry i should have stated that

Hi all,
This question is aimed at the knowledgable and hopefully a few bodgers on here for this one
Looking at a track car build 3.0mv6, that has an auto box, not shy on work and conversions and deffo not looking for nout fancy with this one, is there any other gearbox that fits the engine? One requiring modificataion even?
Also whats the cheapest way out with a solid flywheel kit,
Heard one time that a lad put a opel frontera 2.2 diesel clutch kit in a v6 but not 100% true on the source of it anyone able to confirm
As for the diff question, my white mv6 manual has a lsd diff that must have gave trouble and some lad welded it up, with lsd diffs getting scarce are there available from any other models that can be made fit the casings? Also heard a few years back that the 525bmw was same but again i have only heard this the once and not sure if any truth to it
Hope to hear from ye
Regards
Martin

My dream is to move to a new house, with a larger garage, with space for another Omega. :y
I Just built this garage, roller door not fitted until mid week, its 50ftx30ft this is for the omegas and 1 other classic car and general workshop lift tyre machines hydraulic press etc etc, have 2 other large garages at the house for storage of other classic cars 14 or 15 cars there in total all old fiats 1950's and 60's & 70's
So moral of story ya can never have a garage big enough ya will always fill them i could do with another and this one not even finished 100% 😁😁

Hi everyone,
I have not used a forum since 2009 so be patient with me :)
A quick intro , my name is Martin i have a white prefacelift 3.0mv6 that was ex thames valley police car that is rough around the edges, but i recently picked up a 96 irish opel omega 2.5v6 that was parked in a hay barn for 13 years in between straw and it preserved it like new, i maintain the straw soaked the moisture in the air, i have done nothing to it so far only wash it on way home, i will add pics once i learn how ti, look forward to getting to know ye and getting advice from ye etc
Regards
Martin
