how do the hell do you remove these stupid bloody double din head units ? got the larger keys push them in till clicks and the bugger wont come if i pull it !! if i pull any harder think i will pull the front off !!

bit of a puzzler this one ! went to remove cd cartridge from the changer and it wouldnt come out so removed the whole changer and found the angle levers were in wrong position so put them right and got the cartridge out and refitted it and its like the head unit is not seeing the changer when you press the button on the wheel to select cd it is saying no cas on mid display ? when you insert the cartridge it does all the functions to check for cds but its like its not there to head unit ?? any help or ideas tia mark

ey up guys just fitting a clutch to tomocos omega and on removing clutch found pressure plate in two bits !!  was going to put it back together and there seems to be a lot of movement on the dual mass flywheel ! is this normal i have a spare just want to be sure its ok before fitting clutch ! thanks

how do has any one got a picture of the battery connections on a 2.6 facelift seem to have two wires with ring terminals on and carnt remember were they go !

on the later v6 engines they fitted a non adjustable bottom idler did they change postion of the bolt or will it fit on a 99 3.0 ?? got chance to buy a genuine vaux kit cheap and from the picture it looks to be a fixed idler  :-/ :-/

just done paperclip test on mine after breaking down last nite and im getting codes
73 maf voltage
72 ?
31 no rpm signal

was expecting crank sensor but no ! just cut out coming up to a roundabout and would not go again any ideas on the 72 code

does any one know if the saloon springs are longer or shorter than the estate springs got a pair of each in garage and dont know which is which !!

Omega General Help / paper clip check

right just done paper clip test and got
29 injector valve voltage high
27 injector valve voltage high
17 knock signal curcuit 2

problems are car is idleing very high but if you dissconnect icv will idle about 900rpm eml light lit constantly engine runs very well

any help muchly welcome cheers
