Our electric went off Boxing day at about 9.00 because of the flooding in Rochdale. About 18-20,000 homes left without power. Even the mobile phone service went off for a few hours.

Came back on about 22.30 tonight 37hrs later, big generator now parked next to our substation.

There are about a dozen or so emergency ones running around the area as the main substation was overrun with water, even though in 2010 it has had £468k spent protecting it from that 1 in 200 year flooding event  . Only took 5 

Luckily daughter the other side of town still had power so all freezer stuff transported there but lost a fridge full of food stuff

Earlier on today there was a burger van touring the area giving free burgers, etc for those without power, nice touch I thought

Mine is doing exactly the same, even went on holiday (France) with it happening and nothing seemed to being effected by it

I am still of the opinion that it is Fuel trim + CAT or Lamba or exhaust flow related .
Note - pre-cat has been removed since and code still there

I will someday get round to replacing both lamba's with new from GM but expensive, after that the CAT

That sounds good to me, full refund after 5 months. Just order another off them, you know you'll get a refund if it goes duff within another FULL warranty period.

Could just have been a one off 'badun'

How did you manage that ? Was it heat shrank and where did you get the materials from

Looked up a couple of how too's on YouTube to learn the technique for applying vinyl, then after a bit of trial and error got the knack.

Took 3 lots of that stuff, still got some left over to repair if required (which is on one door)

Thanks Think I answered this before, short answer, more satisfaction from DIY than paying someone

SIR Philbutt, looks great, actually. Personal taste I'd have left the electric window and sunroof panels, but that's nitpicking, and as I say, only personal taste. Really nice looking job, and very well matched up 'opposing' weave of the carbon, too, which is a nice touch.

I left the window buttons at first but just didn't look right when put back together, they took a few attempts before I got them right. If your careful you can click out/in the buttons which makes it easier. Closer inspection and you will agree they could be better though

Sunroof panel was because my lad asked me to do it. I have also done the little glossy panels between the doors, because he asked. He also suggested the panels under the headlights and rear lights, but have resisted that so far

Thanks, doesn't look as it it supports .vob import though 

Does not recognise .VOB stored local but will import from a DVD/blue ray disc, if not copy protected
