They charged me £3.40 to send a C4 sized envelope, with nine sheets of A4 in it, first class, recorded delivery!  :o

I keep thinking I should get a new printer, mine's an ancient HP laser jet. But it keeps going on the few occasions I used it.
Older Laserjets are rock solid reliable, and if you can still get toner, makes little sense to change it.

Mine is (my idea of) quite new, probably around 2015, and keeps going. About once every 6 months it seems to need restarting though - looks fully functional, but point blank refuses to receive any incoming print/scan requests.

Myself, a mate and his boss all bought xerox lasers for £99 about 20+ years ago
, When thier toner ran out I ended up with thier printers (Since binned0 but mine still going strong on the original toner (Replacent is £99) but when it dries up it will be binned.

RM, for all their faults, are very competitive for letters/large letters, and generally aren't *that* expensive on most parcel services.  For future reference, Tracked 24 is often cheaper than 1st Class Signed For for large letters and parcels, but can't be bought at a Post Office.  Tracked 48 is a little cheaper again, but nearer matches 2nd class delivery times.

Special Delivery seems expensive, but does cover a decent amount of insurance, which generally makes it similar to most couriers for more expensive items.

Round these parts, other options as Evri/Herpes and UPS, non of the others have local drop off points*, so not so much choice as more urban areas, if the package really has to be dispatched the same day.

*Actually, now the PO has teamed up with P2G, I think I can use DPD now, and take to PO, as long as purchased through PO/P2G :)

Merc drivers.   All of them.  Is it a requirement for a lobotomy upon purchase.

How oppsing slow can they all drive, and just how much fresh air can they give way to.

Is it a lobotomy, or because they're so blind that they willingly buy such ugly cars?

Royal Mail were supposed to deliver a 48 hour parcel today. Between 11 and 3, according to the app. Nothing turned up and, at 7:45, I got a message saying they were sorry they didn't manage to deliver today. Reason: Property inaccessible  ;D

Just the opposite here. The stereotypes drive , Mercs, Audis and of course BMW. My favourite expression is xxxxxx coming through ,make way. Theybasically are compelled to drive their car as fast as possible and have all specified no indicators on factory options  ( but then most Spaniards dont indicate as other Spaniards are telepthic from birth). The higher the performance model the more like tit they drive.

That's a bit rich coming from the person who has to fix their car just to go to the shops to get prepared for the next breakdown... Which will be on the way back from said shops :D
