Website seems to be lacking a bit of info imho.

They quote an address on the main page, but precious little else.

Think I would steer clear myself.

It's an OEM upgrade version, which means it's about the right price.

In order to legally use it, it would need to be supplied with hardware that already has an older operating system already installed (or supplied on disc).

I think windows updater would spot that wasn't legal if, as KW says, you didn't already have a genuine version installed.

As it goes Steve, all the older OS's that it is used to upgrade (Win 9x, Win ME, Win 2K) didn't have any validation checks...so it won't make any odds if the prevailing OS is bent.

In fact, the prevailing OS doesn't even have to be installed to use the upgrade disc legally.

It's 3 times the price elsewhere because you are looking at the retail version.
Read the advert carefully, and you'll see they are not offering anything near the full retail version.

I suspect, judging by the Home use only its either:

1) HUP version (most likley going by description)
2) Replacement Media

Both come with a key, and should install no problem, but the licence is invalid (for HUP, your company has to have SA, for Replacement Media no licence is provided).

Doesn't sound like OEM

Thanx for the replies, Overclockers is about a quarter of a mile from me, try to avoid if possible they don't have a very good customer service department  :-X

Think I'll look elsewhere....
