Hoping to get my set of 17"Irmscher/mfl MV6 wheels refurbed and on the car soon

Problem is that I need to keep the rolling radius the same otherwise the taxi meter will be off. Recalibrating it is an option, but there a some issues with getting this done locally

Current wheels are CD 16"s with 225/55/16s.

Thinking 245/45/17s for the MV6 ones will they foul the front shocks

Standard 17" rims wear 234/45/17 rubber.

This I know, but 245/45/17s have a rolling radius that's almost the same as the current16s
Looking for clarification that they won't foul the front end

I doubt the extra 20mm (10mm for the 17" rims) will cause the tyre to rub on the front leg, you can confirm that by measuring the current gap and adding 20mm on.

Hmmm, it is awfully close....
