well hello there
« on: 24 February 2007, 21:33:53 »

 ;)Hi All
names Dave or more commonly known as Dodgy. 8-) :-?

I bought my Omega about 5 weeks ago as the everyday car, TBH, i haven't had much luck with it though :(
the final straw was the Alternator belt breaking whist is the outside lane of the M54 motorway last monday, fun  ::)
been having to use the nice day car since
ce la vie

anyway, as the belt broke into small strips, i havnt got a clue how the new one goes on :question
can anyone email a picture/drawing of the layout of the belt please ;)

thanks again for the welcome,
And a big thank you to Markjay for suplying the picture, the car is sorted now, that belt took 10mins to fit ( i had removed the s/s pipe from the manifold to the plenim so that time not inclued) the a/c belt however took a lot longer.
it seems that Halfrauds list the belt as a 780 , when we found the one that fitted was a 813?
once we had the correct belt, i would say the entire job took 45 mins
thanks chaps, back on the road in the everyday car.
