A twenty year old car that's only done 8miles is going to need a lot of work and parts to make it properly drivable. Which is true of any really low mileage, old car. Fixing it and driving it is going to reduce its 'value'


An ancient bottle of wine is probably going to be undrinkable, but that's no longer its purpose.


They're both just showing off how much spare cash you can spend on useless objects. Expensive art is another way.

I was thinking exactly the same, the buyer is probably in luck that they can't drive the thing without it losing all its value.

As others have said, I really don't understand the obsession with ultra low mileage stuff of this type. I'd take a well looked after one with 50k on the clock any day.... Well, not one of those, they're awful. But you get the point.
