Definately better to....
« on: 08 January 2010, 19:02:50 »

Drive a manual Omega in the snow and icy conditions than an auto.
Ok the manual is an estate, auto saloon but I found I will stick to the estate while these conditions persist.
Found I got to much rear end slide in the auto, mind you it's the first time I've driven it on snow/icy roads so a novice there. ;D Had a manual for years previously and no probs :y

I have been nothing short of spectacularly impressed with our MV6 during this stint of atrocious weather.....

Not only has it always started first time (what Omega doesnt!!!) but it has performed beautifully in the snow and ice on our estate here......

Snow mode making the world of difference, and really enjoying lobbing her around corners and seeing the Traction Control light flickering.....

Rear end steps out progressively and controllably and it has never got stuck on any of the inclines I have asked her to go up.....

What a star.......!!!
