Made it Off the Estate!!!

Finally made it off the estate :) :) SWMBO's focus got stuck on it last night after i drove it on when she said everyone was making it on and off. (Everyone in a ba#@$%d 4 by 4 i pointed out).

Tried it in the omega both in snow mode and reverse no joy :( Reverted to the old method of smashing up 4 big paving slabs and chucking them in the boot :y :y

Then spent an hour trying to get a mates Zafira off not a cat in hells chance worse than my omega. One of the other mates towed that out in his range, seemed to handle it well, just contemplating what to do buy a range or keep the paving slabs (i already own) in the boot og the mig. :question ;D ;D

Amazing how many people are thinking of buying a 4x4 just cos we have had 3 weeks of poor weather.......!!!

If memory serves me ..  this latest weather only started on sunday ... which was only 5 days ago !!!!

I know there was a bit before Xmas .. but was "seperate" IMHO .. :)

I can vouch for how bad that is Ian :o :o :o

Still no real problems getting in and out in the Omega though... Although turning around and standing up were both a bit of a challenge :o :o ;D ;D

I know pete was amazed that a few paving slabs made all the difference, local council and tyre place will be busy over the next few weeks replacing kerb stones and track rod ends ;D ;D ;D
