thanks  :y although im getting worried now by the list of problems you guys have started listing lol  :o :-? :-/ dont knwo if any one could answer this but.......does anyone know if the TDCi on a 03 plate is a timing belt or chain engine? and is it true chains dont need to be changed and generally last the life of the engine?

they are chain drive and there is no recommended replacement interval

really worried now about this car im buying lol after reading that link!!!!!!!!!!!  :-/ :-/ :o :o although it has done 92k and all the problem listed seem to occure when its at lower miles so maybe they've been sorted already  :-/

I would not worry too much about the link above,I had a look at there comments for the omega and it would put a lot of people off

well the garage just rung today and said it failed the MOT on the rear bushes so thank god i made sure they put a new mot on before buying it lol picking it up saturday now so looks like a few more days of omega motoring to enjoy :y
