Good news!

Vulcan XH558 has taken again to the sky for the first time this year, and all checks and tests are going very well, with it fully expected to attend air displays:

Enjoy the experience if you get a chance to see her, because this may well be the last year of flying for XH558.
There is something about the frame work, in the wings I think, which is reaching the end of it's serviceable life. Also the engines are irreplaceable, so if one goes wrong again like last year then that would probably be it......
Great shame!!

I popped into a phone shop and they did one for me - cost £10 and took a couple of days.

Our road is a real rat run in the rush hour because it runs parallel with a main road which gets very congested in the rush hour.
There have been numerous very near misses with kids playing foorball in the road, and the council fitted signs to some of the lamposts "No Ball Games", but the kids either can't read or just take no notice.
I do object when they use my car as a goal post though!! :(

My Omega went and I must be honest I do miss it - the comfort and the power.
I now have a Vectra 2.0 Diesel Estate and at 40 to 50 mpg I have saved a fortune!!

We have tried several different varieties of dry food and always end up back with the same - Chambers Supreme Worker 15kg bag for £19.
They love Bakers gravy meals but apparently they aren't particularily good for the dogs and we tried some stuff recommended by the retirement kennels and ended up giving it back to them because our two wouldn't eat it.
They do get lots of doggy treats especially Bonio and Dental Sticks for their teeth and fish occasionally for their coats.

Sorry valleys!
Easy mistake though there are some similarities and that was an old picture........
