When you find an unexpected dining place... And it turns out to be magnificent

Hot Rod Diner, High St, Northfleet. Amazing food, reasonable price, great service and milkshakes you can actually drink rather than needing a shovel. Cheesy 50s charm and great atmosphere.

Don't tell MrsGK but the ladies working there weren't hard to look at either .

The only downside is Northfleet seems quite stabby, even for someone who used to live in Middlesbrough...

Northfleet is a grotty bit of Gravesend, although it was worse when the factories were still there....

Daughter and Son In Law frequent it regularly ...they do a burger challenge which is huge but if you eat it you dont pay and your picture goes up on the wall....needless to say Son In Law appears alot .
