Ronnie hunt
« on: 09 February 2007, 23:03:57 »

I am on the hunt for two things guys and gals....

1. I am looking for a project 2007/2. Must be an Omega in need of a LOT opf work - preferably crashed as well. MUSt be silly cheap and worth silly lots when done.

2. I am actievly looking for a replacement for my little corsa. Ideal choices are either a 2005 or 2006 Focus 1.8 TDci, preferably Zetec spec or Ghia. Other choice is a 2005 or 2006 Fiesta 1.4 TDci Ghia.

Cash available for either at the right price.

Anyone with a good genuine car around, let me know. Oh, maximum mileage 15k. Will pay up to £9k cash for Focus or £6k cash for fiesta. Will apy up to £30 for the Omega at a push.

Is he serious?  Is this a Ronnie wind up?  At this stage, it's hard to tell.  We just don't know.
But whatever the truth is, I'm sure it'll be a roller-coaster trip through looney land!

Glad you're back Ron!

Thanks for that Angela. No, I am actually serious on both parts. Maybe not so serious with the Omega price - I don't normally splash out that much on them, but what the heck, lets throw caution to the wind and up the ante to £50.

Believe it or not, I am thinking about it! Not to repair though - even though it is nothing like as bad as it looks, but just too low spec and too old to make anything really decent at the end. But parts! Engine, MANUAL box and flywheel? Just those bits are worth about £300 if the engine is any good.

Category B means parts only, and you ahve to be a igstered breaker - which I am not. PLUS that £50 is only the start price! Bloomin cheek!

My LPG donor car has got a manual box, I would let that car go for £50 once the LPG is removed!  ;D

That would be worth getting just for the number plate if transferrable and genuine.

Nigh on impossible to stall, so not really teaching them true clutch control.
