I came across this series on Youtube and found it really fascinating (and I was just a tad jealous at the guy's skills). Well worth a look if you're into cars/restorations.

They get into all the steering geometry so that they can modify the steering to fit the mini

Interesting first episode.

An interesting series well filmed and presented. An awful amount of work to fit the 4 wheel drive system into a Mini, whilst I realise they were trying to keep the originality of the Mini body I'm sure it would be a lot easier to cut out the floor pan of the donor car shorten it and fix the mini body over the top.
