What would the benefit of putting 2.2 cams in a 2.0 and can it be done without compromising the engine?

I don't think there would be any gains...

can't see it giving any more power, 2.2 has longer stoke than 2.0. Not sure if the cams would make any difference?

How about putting the 2.2 in a 2.0!!!

How deeply are you 'rebuilding?

How far can the 2.2 be overbored (2.4??)?

Complete rebuild of the engine. Cant be bothered to change the engines over im only doing the rebuild cause it blows a bit of smoke and chugs like a steam train when you take the filler cap off. Its more of a long term project at the mo.
