Get the GM metal layer exhaust manifold gasket ratehr than the compromised composite one in that gasket kit.

Steel rods look very nice!

thanks for the tips Mark. This is the gasket they use on the z20let enigne?

I got some more engine parts in the mail yesterday :)

I have mounted the piston to the rod. its was hard! >:(

Yes the rats Omega, i saw it in the raceway a coupel of yaers ago, its was crasht on nuburgering last year, its getting rea bildt now.

Would love to see some more of your assembly pics, very interesting - would love to have the skills to do that. Need to play with a car I don't need... :)

been there, done that, lived to tell the tale  :)

also I diassembled a straight 6 engine in my dining room, worst bit was getting the engine crane through the front door to mount the engine on the stand  :D
