Had to do some work on the Skoda today
« on: 17 July 2014, 18:34:37 »

Wondered why the brakes were a bit..........well .........erm...........useless, so I had the wheels off the other day and found a whole load of grease sprayed over the left front disc & pads  >:( :( >:( The CV boot had split. So off I trot & get myself a new one, quite an easy job too. Now all I need to do is de-grease the disc & fit new pads  ::) ::) ::)

Tell me about it!!!! Though I was gonna need a bloody anchor to stop it, I wouldn't care the pads & discs are less than 12 months old, the discs are salvageable but the grease has eaten in to the pads  >:( >:( >:(

Got to fit new discs & pads to the rear in the morning, hope there's no more surprises :o :o :o    :-\ :-\
