ABS ECU Woes
« on: 20 November 2008, 21:21:55 »

Hi all, having problems with my 99 3.0 MV6.

Got the intermitent leading to permanent problem of ABS and T/C lights coming on and no speedo. Removed the ABS ECU and had 'ECU Tesing' test it. They confirmed there was a faut on it and repaired it.

Just fitted the returned item and everythings back to normal, speedo works etc. Quick drive around and the problems back, intermittent again and now it seems permanent. Have left it for a few hours to see.

Anybody any ideas of where else in the system the problem may lie if not the ECU?

Sounds like a failed repair....send it back.

They fail where a bond wire comes free on the internal PCB....they have possibly not reapired it well
