Omega General Help / 3.2 conversion Worth it
« on: 10 October 2023, 09:02:39 »
As above - I have got access to a 3.2  engine for cheap money, in theory, the  bigger CC 'must' be better seeing as the reason the 3.0 is good is because of already big CC
I realize latter one is the electric throttle, was thinking of keeping using the  3.0 intake, Ideally id like to supercharge one day. maybe even use the 3.0 heads.

From people who have done a 3.2 manual swap.   was it worth the effort?  any pointers

Had a bit of a search but these things are so old now that it seems no one really bothers going too deep anymore on full-on mods.

Omega General Help / LSD limited slip differntials - Omega B
« on: 10 October 2023, 05:41:54 »
Hello

What are people using for Limited slip differentials in omega B?

I am looking for one for my recent purchase 3.0 v6 but they seem to be thin on the ground
Contacted 'Gripper diffs' Uk who offered to 'build me one' which sounds like it would cost more than the car! But maybe that's what we have to do...  :-\

Seems the Omega A / Carlton  LSD is slightly easier to find but was a solid-mounted diff. People say that you can just swap the inside LSD part but there is little info
Surely with all the high powerd Omega knocking around and those in the eastern countries with Snow and ice there must be viable LSD options  or are people swapping in something else ?

Thanks for info . If you have an LSD for sale PM me

Newbie Welcome Area / Bonjour!
« on: 08 October 2023, 19:30:19 »
Hi new member France, been a Ford Sierra fan for 20+ years but always liked the V6 omega
Just came across one that was too cheap to pass up . V6  3.0 Manual

bit tatty around the edges but seems little to no rust, headlamps need a polish, bumpers a paint.

Goes hard and cheap on the LPG or E85

Shame I had a photo - But that looks complex to do ... I cannot code !

Look forward to  exchanges on the forum :y
